The Tron Light Cycle Light Tape® is used extensively in the up and coming Tron movie, set for general release December 2010. Light Tape creates style at the Earl of Doncaster Hotel Light Tape was recently installed at the Earl of Doncaster Hotel in Doncaster, South Yorkshire as part of the refurbishment of the hotel’s restaurant. Reopening under the name of, Cafe Bar Concerto, the restaurant is in keeping with the traditional Art Deco Style of the rest of the hotel and whilst the Light Tape is used as part of an ensemble of different lighting styles around the upper part of the room, it also offers the added benefit of providing safety lighting around the lower areas, distinguishing the varying floor levels and small steps and helping to prevent accidental tripping. The comfortable ambience of the restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere in which to dine and the overall effect of decor, lighting and 1930’s character not only exudes the opulence of a bygone era but also helps to draw you back for more again and again. Add a touch of light around the upper edges of the walls in a room, at ceiling height to add height and interest. You can create the” sky scraper” effect and bring design ideas to life whilst effecting a touch of class as you combine Light Tape with other lighting forms to really bring a room to life.
